REAL HAPPINESS LEARNING AND TEACHING PROGAM

What will I learn and what will I teach others?

You will engage in a process of self-healing and empowerment that helps you:

• forgive yourself and others for past trespass/injury
• take responsibility for what you think, feel, say and do
• communicate honestly without blaming others

• drop your mask and embrace your True Self
• stop being a victim and step into your power and purpose
• hear, honor, and trust your inner guidance
• create more fulfilling intimate relationships
• create more fulfilling work that expresses your talents and gifts
• help others heal and embrace their True Self

THE REAL HAPPINESS LEARNING PROGRAM   
              
Note: The Learning Program is for all students who want to heal and step into their power.
It is also the gateway to the Teacher Training and Certification Program

Time Frame:  6-12 Months.

Goal:  Earn Certificate of Completion. Take the first step in preparation
             for Teacher program.

Requirements:

• Attend 2 Retreats with Paul Ferrini during the year
• Participate in 3 Real Happiness Learning Intensives (Phase 1, 2, and 3)
• Participate in Paul’s Monthly Talks
• Participate in Affinity support groups  
• Participate in bi-weekly spiritual mentoring (required for teacher trainees)

THE REAL HAPPINESS TEACHING PROGRAM 

LEVEL ONE TEACHER PREPARATION

Transition Learning to Facilitating

Time Frame: 3--6 Months.

Goal:  Earn a license to offer Real Happiness study groups and facilitate Affinity     
               Groups.  Meet the requirements to apply to Level Two Teacher Training.

Requirements:

• Pass Exams on all Three Phases of the Real Happiness Curriculum
• Offer and document Phase 1, 2, and 3 Real Happiness Study Groups
• Participate in bi-weekly spiritual mentoring (required)
• Participate in Affinity Facilitator Training and offer an ongoing
  weekly affinity group in your community
• Participate in Monthly Talks with Paul Ferrini
• Attend the next spiritual retreat with Paul Ferrini
• Obtain your mentor’s recommendation for Level Two Training

If you successfully complete the above requirements, you are licensed to offer Affinity Groups and Real Happiness Study Groups in your community.  Your license must be renewed on a yearly basis (see details below). If your mentor supports your application,
you are now eligible to apply to Level Two of the Teacher Training Program.  If you are accepted into Level Two, you will design a Teaching Practicum with your mentor and the Teaching Coordinator.  This Practicum is submitted to Paul Ferrini for his approval.

LEVEL TWO TEACHER PREPARATION

Transition Facilitating to Teaching

Time Frame: 12-18 Months. 

Goal:  Earn license to teach Real Happiness Intensives in your community.

Requirements:

• Offer Introductory Real Happiness Talks in your community
• Teach Phase One, Two and Three of the Real Happiness Curriculum both
  by Stage and by Phase with supervision from an experienced teacher
• Offer an ongoing Affinity Group for all of your students
• Participate fully in the bi-weekly Teacher Support Group
• Participate as a staff assistant in 3 Real Happiness Learning Intensives
• Continue Bi-weekly Mentoring
• Begin to mentor new students if your mentor thinks you are ready
• Attend at least 2 retreats with Paul Ferrini

Please note: successful completion of these requirements enables you to earn Level Two
Certification. This gives you a one year license to teach the Real Happiness Intensive Workshops in your community.   Your license must be renewed on a yearly basis (see details below).  Level Two Teachers with licenses in good standing are listed on our website.

LEVEL THREE TEACHER PREPARATION

Transition Teaching to Training

Time Frame:  Varies with each person.

Goal:  Develop Mastery in Teaching and Mentoring

Requirements:

Demonstrate through your teaching work that you are able to successfully build a Real Happiness Learning Community at the local level.

• Continue to teach Phase One and Phase Two weekend Intensives
  with greater frequency and an increase in enrollment.
• Develop skills in networking, organizing and marketing that can be share with new teachers.
• Successfully Mentor other students and Teachers in Training and step into a leadership position as a Trainer of other Teachers.
• Assist Paul Ferrini as a staff member at workshops and retreats

Curriculum Materials Required

All teachers and their students agree to protect the copyright of the materials and sign a statement to that effect.  Teachers agree to require all of their students to purchase the Real Happiness E Course directly from Heartways Press, Inc. prior to enrolling in their classes or workshops. Certification and Licensing

The following certificates are awarded:

• Certificate of Completion Real Happiness Learning Program
• Level One Teacher Certification
• Level Two Teacher Certification
• Level Three Teacher Certification 

Levels One, Two and Three Certification license you to teach Real Happiness Curriculum (as specified in your letter of certification from Paul Ferrini) and to use this information in your practice as a teacher, counselor, therapist, coach or other human service professional.  However, these certifications do not license you to practice your profession. You must obtain training and licensure for this elsewhere. Please consult the requirements for licensure established by the state and country in which you live. 

 Yearly License Renewal:  To renew your Teacher’s license, you must submit a summary of your teaching activities during that year to the Teaching Coordinator, and attend a special training for teachers, if it is offered. If such a training is not offered, you may attend a retreat with Paul Ferrini instead. Our goal is to stay in touch with what you are doing and to see you in person at least once per year.
