Dear Joerie and Friends:

This week we witnessed a great tragedy. We are still coming to grips with the toll taken by the great Tsunami in South Asia. Estimates indicate that well over a hundred thousand innocent people lost their lives. Children lost fathers or mothers, parents lost children, spouses lost husbands or wives. Well over a million people have been left homeless. Our hearts feel the pain of those who suffered and those who continue to suffer.
A wise Sri Lankan doctor pointed out that we have witnessed not only a Tsunami of death and destruction, but also a Tsunami of love and compassion. People's hearts have opened and they have extended help in countless ways to those in need. We saw the same thing after the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.
The human heart is an extraordinary instrument for God's love in this world. That is why we must keep our hearts open to the cry for help whenever it comes. Each of us is asked to answer that call in our own unique way. Because of the terrestial speed up, the call for help is growing in intensity every day. Events such as this remind us that it is reaching Epoch proportions.


	The great wake-up call for planet earth and its inhabitants has come!

   We have not done a very good job as stewards of the Earth or as our Brothers' Keepers and our mistakes are catching up with us. No, we are not being punished by God or by the Earth. We are simply reaping the collective results of actions that we have taken repeatedly in the past. The attempt to control or subjugate the earth or the creatures and human beings on it must inevitably fail.
   Imbalances must be brought back into balance. Inequalities must move toward equality. The rightful place of human beings is to be good and gentle stewards for the planet, to take care of the air and the water and to let the earth breathe so that we can find our roots as well as our branches.
   To be good stewards, we need to re-align with earth energies. That means that the pace of life must slow down. We need to breathe and become present. We need to let go of the frenetic lifestyles that create non-stop tension and struggle in our consciousness and in our relationships.
   This frenetic energy disconnects us with the earth and takes us up into our heads, where we
try to process everything intellectually. We get caught in our own dramas and react to those of others. The result is that we are locked into our fear and our pain. And rather than feel the pain, we either medicate it and turn it inward or we project it onto others.
   If the world is a mess it is only because we don't take the time to breathe and to connect with the power of love moment to moment. That is why I feel so strongly that we all need to be engaged in a daily spiritual practice that helps us feel God's presence. When we feel the presence of love, we become it. We become its instrument in the world.
   I have been told that the time has come when we humans as a group must stop living for ourselves alone. Yes, we must still care for ourselves and our families. But we also are being asked to care for our neighbors at home and abroad. We are moving into a time when the whole planet and everyone on it is our family, when every child is our child, and every parent is our father or our mother.
   When we look into the eyes of the survivors of the Tsunami, we know the truth of this statement. There is no separation between us. We want for each human being what we want for ourselves: love, safety, care, belonging. We want to reach out and touch the children because they are our children.
   There was a time when each of us could do our little spiritual practice in isolation and take our time waking up. That time, my friends, is over. The great wake-up call for planet earth and its inhabitants has come.
We do not have the luxury of time to procrastinate, hesitate or delay. It is time to rise up and be the love that we have been reading about.
   The power of love needs our arms and legs. We can no longer sell ourselves or others short by feeling unworthy, leaving God's work to Mother Teresa or someone else to do. My friends, today Mother Teresa is knocking on your door. She is calling you, because her arms and legs are no longer available to reach to the women or the children in South India or Sri Lanka.

   You and I are being called to serve because love is needed in this world. And we cannot receive the gift of this love for ourselves if we are unwilling to give the gift to others.
   No, you do not need to get on a plane or a ship and go to Sri Lanka. There is work to do right where you are, in your community. There are people right there who are calling out for love and acceptance. There are people there who need food and shelter, or who need emotional support and encouragement. If you do not answer the call, their needs will not be met.
   The tidal wave of death and destruction is a call to compassion. It is a call to serve. It is time for the great wave of compassion to rise up on planet earth and bring healing and empowerment to those who feel lost, depresseed, discouraged, unloved and unloveable.
   My friend Inez loves to delegate. She recently wrote to Oprah and asked Oprah to use her wealth and her influence to save the children. I told her "Inez, you don't get it. The only one who can help the children is you! It has nothing to do with Oprah.
   God works through a willing heart. If you are willing, God will use you. He is the one who delegates, not you. You are the one who is being asked to show up.
   May we all show up in our lives so that God can use us as instruments of His compassion, His caring, and His love.

	*Birds of a Feather*


	The members of the flock move with incredible simultaneity. They move not as separate bodies, but as one body, with each assuming its rightful place in the flying formation.


	It is said that “birds of a feather flock together.” This is not just true of birds. It is true of souls too. Souls also have flocks or spiritual families with whom they have attuned through common experiences. It is easy to recognize one of the members of your flock because you immediately feel their heart. You immediately know who this person is. Your encounter with this person awakens your “soul memory.” Have you ever noticed that when a flock of birds flies off, it seems to know exactly where it is going. It moves into flight quickly. The members of the flock move with incredible simultaneity. They move not as separate bodies, but as one body, with each assuming its rightful place in the flying formation. They do not deliberate when or where to go. They do not discuss the future and come to agreement about what each will do or when it should be done. They mere attune to each other and to their leader and when the leader begins to flap his wings all the others follow suit. They do this automatically and with the full force of their being. We call it instinct, or imprinting.

		You too have been born with an imprint that is carried by other members of your spiritual family. You are attuned to the same frequency. They is why when the leader calls to the flock, the flock comes. They cannot ignore the call. The call to the family and the spiritual purpose of the group is stronger than anything that keeps them separate. This is part of the natural order of things. You all are imprinted with the code of awakening into your light bodies together.

   You come together to support each other in doing this, because such support cannot be found in your homes and communities. When you have been midwived into your power by the group energy, you will return to your home and your community and begin to draw others to you. You will build community there and it will be as wonderful as the community you have experienced in your mother group.
   Your link to your spiritual family is therefore of supreme importance. It is as important in your life as your link to your family of origin or your nuclear family. Indeed, when the call comes, all other affiliations and commitments that you bring with you must support that spiritual family connection, or they will fade away.
   There are times in life when the earthly family comes first and one must be devoted to meeting its needs. This is a necessary and helpful part of the human experience. In some respects, it prepares you to participate in your spiritual family when the call comes.
   The call to the spiritual family comes when you are ready to hear it. You must ripen and stew in the juices of life until your heart is open and your hearing is acute. Then you will hear the call. Indeed, you cannot mistake it when it comes.
   Some of you will be called late in life. Some will be called in mid-life. Still others of you will be called in your teens or twenties, and some of you will be called as young children, if your parents are open and supportive and allow you to be who you are.


	The children of the world are in crisis. Never has there been a time in the world when humans were less connected to Divine Mother’s energy than they are now.


		*The Ministry to the Young People*

	Divine Mother takes care of all of her children. She takes care of those of you who have lost a parent by bringing surrogate parents into your lives. Her ministry is to care for the children of the world, old and young. She brings the embrace of understanding and acceptance. She nurtures and sustains life. She meets the needs of her children. The children of this world today are without parents. Neither mother nor father is present in the home. Both are out working, struggling to obtain name and fame, worldly rewards and treasures. Yet, once obtained, these rewards and treasures do not satisfy. The result is a kind of spiritual emptiness.

   You see it both in the adults and in their children. They can always buy more hi-tech toys, but they cannot buy love. They cannot buy peace. They cannot buy nurturing.
   Parents and their children are stressed out, over-extended, and crazed by constant stimulation. The children cannot focus. They cannot slow down enough to build the skills they need to survive in the world. Neither children nor parents have roots in the ground. Families are broken and in free fall. They do not support children. And schools and churches cannot pick up the pieces.
   The children of the world are in crisis. Never has there been a time in the world when humans were less connected to Divine Mother’s energy than they are now.

   This crisis must be addressed. You have been called together not just to answer your own call for love, but to answer the call of the children. That is why many of you are feeling galvanized and ready to build the Ministry to the Young People now.
   You will start with healing your relationships with your own children and by asking for their help in creating new family and social structures that will support and mentor them. The approaches that work for your children will work for hundreds of thousands, indeed millions, of displaced, disoriented, and depressed children, teenagers and young adults. Together you will give birth to new communal living structures and new schools that will connect these young people to their Source and assist them in understanding and expressing their gifts in the world.
   Those of you who are drawn to this house of healing don’t have to be told how important it is. You already know. That is why you are being called as God Mothers and God Fathers to parent the children who are hungry for love and empowerment.
   To take the next step into this healing ministry, ask for the help of your children and bring them to the retreats. There, parents and children will connect with each other and with Divine Mother’s energy. They will be inspired and guided to develop the affinity spaces and empowerment tools that young people need to self actualize and give their gifts to each other and to the world.

The Youth Spiritual Network

   We are in the process of creating The Youth Spiritual Network as a major program focus of our non-profit organization The Miracles Community Network. This will provide a needed vehicle for applying for grants and receiving tax deductible donations in support of this work.
   As we envision it, The Youth Spiritual Network is a group of empowered young people and their parents who are working together to create the new learning and mentoring structures necessary to help young people take their place in the world. These structures require building community at the local level all over the planet. New shared living, working and childcare structures, new schools and hands-on learning options will result. Young people will take an active role in assessing their needs and in helping to create programs that address them. Models will be built and tested and funding will be obtained to duplicate successful approaches.
   We are beginning with two specific areas of focus:

Development of the Spiritual Guides Network

Spiritual Guides are adults in the extended family/community who mentor young people, help them to ponder the big questions without resorting to dogmatic or pat answers, and assist young people in connecting with nature, with each other, with Self and with the larger universe in which they live. Spiritual Guides are instrumental in helping young people go through the rite of passage (puberty) from childhood to adulthood. They work intensively with adolescents who are beginning to separate from their parents and looking to find out who they are as unique human begins. They necessarily help youth deal with issues like purpose/meaning, sexuality, communication and respect, teamwork, and self-knowledge. They counsel individual youth and offer a variety of group experiences where young people can bond, grow and have fun. In the past, we have sometimes called people like this Godmothers and Godfathers or Big Sisters/Big Brothers, acknowledging the role they play as spiritual foster parents or role models. With the breakup of the nuclear family and the obsolescence of traditional extended families, the importance of this role cannot be overemphasized.

Development of Peer Communities

Young people need to have positive group experiences: hiking in nature, rafting or canoeing on a river or lake or kayaking in the ocean, climbing mountains, camping, serving at a homeless shelter, a nursing home or a hospice. They need experiences writing songs or poetry together and making and marketing a CD or a Video. They can help each other explore a new business idea, learn a new language and travel to a foreign country together. They can visit museums and libraries together, go to concerts and plays together. They can stage a play, a concert, or an art exhibit. They can meet in an affinity group and talk from the heart about issues that are important to them. The possibilities are endless.

   Spiritual Guides can work with Youth and their Parents to facilitate learning and growth opportunities that help build a peer community where kids feel a sense of belonging. All of this prepares them in important ways for the challenges that will face them as adults.
   We are looking for volunteer guides to join us in developing these important programs. We also welcome youth and parent participation in this process as it evolves. Just send an email to info@heartwayspress.com and share your ideas and your needs with us.

For me to attend at the retreat in Florida has been truly miraculous. I have received so many gifts of love. I reconnected with some people I had met at the September retreat and our connection is becoming deeper in our sharing and supporting each other. It was the occasion to meet the people of the telephone support group which has been very special. There were also other people I never met before and all together we created an immense space of love and acceptance that brought me in a different time/space continuum. Even though we were together only two days, it seemed as if no time went by.
Now, I feel the energy flowing in me more easily. My husband told me today: “You look like an angel! Come, I want to hug you.” It's so inspiring. It's such a long time I have been waiting to be part of a spiritual community that wants to love and accept the" shadow," where everyone is encouraged to cooperate and share their gifts and make a place for the children. Hi everyone. Hi every beautiful being of light. Here I share my experience of life and of love. I am here today with this beautiful energy. I feel connected to this energy every present moment. I feel what I have to do is to serve this energy. I listen with my heart and I go serve with passion this energy of unconditional love. I feel so happy to love and to be love.
Even in school, it is so natural to serve this energy and to be one with it. I asked one person
"do you want to take the time?" and she said "yes." We went to an empty and calm space at a level of pure acceptance and unconditional love. She shared what she was living inside of her. My heart was listening to her and my mind and body were completely given to the energy. Afterward we closed our eyes and the energy spoke to her through my mouth.
I feel connection every moment with the energy, and at the same time with other human beings. I feel that I am here now because I said yes I want to heal my wounds, yes I accept my pain, yes I want to move from fear to love. I feel it's only the beginning of this connection with the energy. There is so much love, peace, acceptance, respect here.
Every moment is unique. I feel that I am growing every day. I have been called by the energy through my Mom. I feel now that we are returning to a real family. I feel connected with my family and this connection is growing every moment.

My experience with other kids is unbelievable. When I share with someone, I feel that the energy is using my mouth and body to express itself. Sometimes 30 kids just come around to receive the energy through my being. They just come and listen to the music of love that plays through me, the instrument. They just come to receive because I choose to serve, to give, to be present for them.
I feel so much peace inside and outside. I dance and sing with the energy of incredible love. The energy also comes to me through nature. There are so many miracles that are happening now. I feel that they were also happening before, but I could not see them.

PS The energy came in me yesterday. It told me it was there to show me my wound. It told me that I had a mission to heal myself. Then I went inside my wound. I saw a black hole that I had been in since I was six years old. Now my head and my left arm are out of the hole, but there is still a part of me that is in fear and resists. I feel all this resistance in my body. There is an incredible pain in me and this part does not want to leave the hole.
The energy is constantly with me. It is helping me every moment to make this transformation from fear to love. I have to be patient with myself and accepting where I am. That's the message the energy is sending me when I listen to i

Gary’s Sharing

My wife and I have been in the process of moving to southwest Florida ever since last winter. I'm retiring and sort of knew that Spirit had something in mind for me there but I didn't know what. Then I went to the retreat and discovered what Spirit had planned for me. This is going to be my work of joy and unconditional love!
Paul took Celia and I down to the dock on the river. Under the shade of the cupola he shared the Christ energy with each of us. Afterwards, I just sat in the sun on the dock and rocked myself as I felt this beautiful, peaceful energy envelope me. I wanted to stay there forever!
So many times I start thinking about how much love was shared that weekend, and then I just go back into that all encompassing space of bliss and the tears flow....and I thank God and Paul and all those new friends that I have.

My recent experience at Dayspring in Florida is hard to express in words but I will give it a gallant effort! It was both healing and inspiring. ...the word "inspire" literally means to be "in spirit" and this really summarizes my experience as well as the goal...to live a life "in and with spirit," to be aware that every moment is truly about this communion. I have begun to realize that it's not about what we are doing; it is about being "in spirit" and living an "inspired life." I celebrated my birthday while at the retreat and the gifts I received that day are the type that keep giving...I thank Paul for his gentle loving mother energy balanced with that "kick butt" father energy...I look forward to January with ALL the spirit in me!!

I have tried to write about my experience after I left the retreat but just can't begin to express the divine love I received. It was soooo much! After the retreat I had a wonderful visit with my family, many hugs from my Dad, dancing lights in the night sky welcoming me, a shooting star, a huge crescent moon directly in front of my condo, sand dollars every where I walked on the beach and the most gorgeous sunset I have EVER seen! Before the retreat, I never could quite resonate with Rumi. I kinda felt like he was "over the top." But now "I Get It"! Rumi was in spiritual ecstasy and so was I.

Sitting for 15 minutes allowing my Self to be bathed in God's Love is indeed different than the meditating I have been doing----Even doing Shi Bashi this morning, which I did with my eyes turned inward, focusing on God was not the same in terms of "Self Love" as simply sitting in the middle of the stream of God's Love--being part of that flow--allowing my Self to know and be Love. I have been using the words for a while.Today I began to really feel my oneness with them.
   I also am aware that I am experiencing life and my relationship with my heavenly family (Angels, God, Jesus, Baba, Reiki Guides) differently. The constant swirl of confusion and underlying sadness is gone---and I am more easily able to make decisions without fear that I am choosing the "wrong" path. I suspect that this is part of how my heavenly family is now interacting at a different level with me. It's more like we are also one, rather than that they are on the outside looking on and waiting to be asked.
This started when I prayed for God to help me release my fear and confusion (The next morning I clearly knew I was to go to Florida for the retreat--no matter the cost) and it was anchored in at the retreat when I gave Shiva my need to know (at the head level) and my fear of knowing (at the heart level). In both moments of release, I also affirmed my openness, willingness and clear intention to follow Divine Guidance and replace my fear and control with Love and Trust.
   I am reminded of Helen Hunt's character in "As Good as it Gets" after her son's asthma is finally properly diagnosed and treated. She no longer needs to live in the drama of "will my son live or die today" and for a little while she doesn't know how to act or live--eventually releasing that drama allows her to open herself more to receiving and being Love.
   I am so grateful for having been led to Paul and to the work he is being led to expand. I have no doubt it is also my work--I feel like I am coming home. I feel like the last 51 years were a necessary training ground---every single moment and experience teaching me what I need to know to be able to do the work that is here right now and that is ahead of me to do. I am thankful that I was able to trust the process and step out in faith to travel the road that got me to this place.

Ask Paul

Dear Paul,

It would seem that my main problem could be summed up in the phrase, "All thought and no action." So many fascinating ideas burst forth on the screen of my mind, and yet I don't do much of anything. I don't act.
There is also a longing in me to connect with individuals who are doing good work, but I hesitate to reach out, partly because I have so often been swept up in ideologies and beliefs propagated by charismatic folks whom I would later come to regard as "quacks."
Many years ago, I smoked a lot of pot and took a lot of acid, which is to say that I can tend to live in very ungrounded ways, just swept up by every little twist and turn of emotion and thought without any practical constructive action to keep me grounded and sane. For a few years, I was seeing a so-called psychic healer who really appealed to that part of me which romanticizes all things spiritual. I was introduced to books supposedly channeled by various kinds of extra-terrestrial beings -- from angels to entities from distant stars. I paid money to have my past-life experiences examined, to lay on a table and be healed by the hands of this therapist, to go through all manner of psychological gymnastics in small groups which met every other week.

   Many years ago, when I was introduced to the notion of "nirvana" and "the end of suffering" in the Buddhist literature. I thought that I must become enlightened. I read a lot, and I meditated a little. I also talked a lot about psychology, philosophy, music and art, spirituality. Here I am now, at 42 years of age, probably not much wiser than I was when I was twenty, and without so much as a college degree or even a full-time vocation. As I write this letter to you, it occurs to me that this thought of myself as a failure is a deep-seated and painful one...
   Nearly two years ago, I got married, and we have a little one on the way, to be born in May. I'm a hair away from a degree now, and I've got my sights set on being a full-time teacher, focusing on the elementary school age. At the suggestion of my wife, I began substitute teaching to get a taste of the profession before deciding to go for it, and I really came alive in the classroom, really felt connected to the children. This discovery has been a blessing.
   However, my wife and I do not get along well, and this is extremely upsetting to me. Every day, several times a day, I am criticized and put down, and I hate myself for my apparent inability to stand up for myself. At present, I am dependent on my wife, in that she holds down a well-paying job as a lieutenant in the Coast Guard, and I'm a poor college student. She and a therapist I'm seeing these days have pointed out that I've definitely got "Peter Pan Syndrome" in a huge way...I suppose it's true.
You write about guilt and the sense of unworthiness at the core of suffering and about healing through unconditional love. I get these flashes where I can feel the truth in what you are conveying. But then I seem more convinced by those familiar thoughts that I am a failure, and this is all "confirmed" for me by the constant criticism coming from my wife. .I really am frustrated! I'm hoping that, by writing out these things in a letter to you, I can facilitate the bringing in of more light in my life. Perhaps there's something I'm not quite seeing. Perhaps there is something you can convey to me that will help me to grow into a more healthy and happy adult?

Dear Tom,

I appreciate your honesty. Many of the things that you write about have taken you away from yourself. You have followed external authorities rather than the internal one in your heart. Of course, that has resulted in dashed hopes and unfulfilled promises. Is it any wonder that you feel like a failure?
   If you want to get your life together, there are certain things that you must do. They are simple, practical things. First, do not follow someone else’s prescription for happiness. Find happiness in your own heart and in your own life. Let that be your number one goal.
   Second, you must learn to love yourself as you are in this moment and to know that you are enough just as you are. You don’t need to be fixed or improved.
   Third, learn to support yourself financially and to contribute to the support of your family. No excuses. It seems that you are on track to do this as a teacher of young children. Be sure to persevere in this. Doubtless there will be tests of your resolve.
   Fourth, ask your wife to refrain from criticizing you in return for your wholehearted attempt to take responsibility for yourself and to contribute to the support your family. When you have children, your financial contribution will be needed, especially if you wife takes time off to be with your child.
   Ask your wife to forgive the past and to join you in turning over a new leaf in the book of life, so that your relationship may prosper and be a harmonious place for the new life you are bringing into this world. Ask her to think loving, supportive thoughts of you and remind her that you are the father of the child she is carrying.
   Forget about healing and enlightenment. Just put one foot in front of the other. Set small, modest goals that you can achieve. When you have been successful accomplishing the small things in life, you can set your sights a little higher. But don’t speed up too quickly. Stay grounded. Stay on purpose.
   If possible, begin a regular spiritual practice such as the one suggested in my two new books The Laws of Love and The Power of Love. You will find spiritual law and practice # 4 on the manifestation process particularly helpful in your situation. A regular practice will enable you to expand your consciousness without giving your power away to others. It will help to keep you grounded and on-track in your life.
   As you learn to love and affirm yourself and “show up” for others in your life, you will see results. The fruits of your efforts will be clear and plain for you and everyone else to see and acknowledge. Then, you can leave the old “failure” syndrome behind.
   Remember to be patient with yourself and others. Take one day at a time. Take small steps forward and the goal will be reached in time.
   Grandiose ideas rarely manifest and skipping steps rarely works. Better to move forward with humility and touch all of the bases as you go.
   I know that this isn’t a glamorous prescription, but it is practical one that is likely to succeed.

Dear Friends,

Recently I received information warning about the possibility
that we are in imminent danger of a massive tsunami
hitting the east coast of the U.S.

The information suggests that the tsunami would be triggered by a volcano or earthquake
in the Canary Islands. A diagonal fracture on the western island of La Palma has already separated
the western slope of the Cumbre Vieja ridge line and only friction keeps one third of the island from
falling into the ocean, creating a rushing wall of water with a clear run across the Atlantic to the U.S.
eastern seaboard. While the facts are not disputed, nor is the likelihood of the event, the question
is how imminent is this catastrophe?
Numerous visions by people with near death experiences, combined with the prophecies of the psychics,
visionaries, and contemporary indigenous peoples (see the call of the Mayan elders below)suggest that
the timeframe for this and other massive earth changes is now upon us. The recent Asian Tsunami and
the record breaking Hurricanes in Florida are only a few of the more poignant examples that the earth
has begun to awaken.
The result will be that life as we know it on the planet will be changed forever. The challenge before us
is as follows:

1. We must prepare for these catastrophes so that the loss of life can be minimized.

2. We must develop the capacity to effectively and efficiently deliver help in all forms to the
victims, their families and their communities. This includes psychological and spiritual support.

3. We must begin to share our resources with others around the world who need them.

4. We must change our lifestyles and our patterns of consumption so that we do not further
pollute the earth, its air, its water, and its soils, or deplete its natural resources.

5. We must rekindle our connection with nature and all living creatures, so that we live in respect
and cooperation and not in disregard and domination.

6. We must understand that there is a direct connection between the extent of human cruelty
   to life and the intensity and severity of the earth changes, which are coming to help us shift
   our consciousness and to atone for our mistakes. The earth will not stop shaking, the seas will
   not stop rising, the winds will not stop blowing and the fires will not stop burning until human
   beings learn to be kind to each other, to all creatures, and to mother Earth.

7. We must understand that neither God nor Nature is punishing us. We are merely experiencing
   the consequences of our collective thoughts, feelings and actions. Human consciousness is
   out of step with its planetary home and out of touch with its divine origin.

8. We must understand that the purpose of these changes is to remove the causes of our
disconnect and help us to be reconnected.

9. As we learn the lessons of this time, we will be giving birth to a new consciousness and a new
civilization, a golden age where peace will reign in our hearts and in our relationships.

The Shift from Fear to Love

The nature of this work is to assist in the shift of human consciousness
from fear to love.

That means your consciousness is being invited to shift.

However, let us be clear.
This cannot be done by force.
You cannot make fear become love.

The only way that fear shifts
is when it is held in a loving and compassionate way.

That means that we are not going to make our fear wrong or bad,
and we are not going to try to make it go away.

We are going to invite our fear to come and sit here beside us
and be held compassionately.
We are going to get our arms around our fear.
We are no longer going to resist it, deny it or try to change it.

We are going to let it be and hold it gently.

And as we do, all that is contracted in us begins to relax.
All that is harsh and unforgiving in us begins to soften
and to yield to acceptance and grace.

Fear diminishes and subsides
as it is held gently and compassionately.

This is the container energy. This is divine mother’s embrace.
When we hold our fear in this way, we connect with the power of love
and fear drops away.

When we hold the fear of others in this way, we help them connect
with the power of love
and their fear can be relinquished.

Experiencing the Power of Love

To Experience the Power of Love means:

To feel relaxed in our bodies
To feel present in our hearts
To feel at peace in our minds
To feel connected to other beings, to our planet and our Source.

When we are relaxed in our bodies,
our body becomes a channel for healing energy.
When we are present in our hearts,
we love ourselves and others without conditions.

When we are at peace in our minds,
we accept what is without judgment or interpretation.
When we feel connected to Source,
we become the embodiment of love in the world.

This is what it means to live in alignment with Love:

We heal our bodies
We heal our hearts
We heal our minds
We heal our relationships.

Only Love brings fulfillment and completion.
Only love uplifts human consciousness and empowers us
to realize our divine potential.

This work enables us to connect with love:

Love of self (our essence)
love of others (all living creatures)
love of nature (our planetary home)
love of God (our eternal Source).

Rabbi Hillel once asked "If I am not for myself,who is for me?"

We must be here for ourselves.
We must learn to love, accept, respect and celebrate who we are.
We must value our gifts and learn to offer them to the world.

But Hillel also asked "If I am for myself alone, Who am I?"

Yes, I need to heal and come into the fullness of who I am,
but this is just the beginning.
As I heal, I become capable of facilitating healing for others.
As I come into the fullness of who I am,
I become capable of empowering others to be who they are.

My healing belongs not only to me, but to all of us.

In being for ourselves, we learn to be there for others.
In showing up for me, I learn to show up for you.
One heart that surrenders to love
is the invitation to another.

That is how the world will end.
Not with a bang, not with a whimper,
But with a symphonic surrender to the vibration of love
in our bodies, our hearts and our minds.

Every cell and every organ in the collective body
will serve the health and well being of the whole.
Peace will come to our hearts and to our world.
Equality will be realized in our relationships.

Resistance to truth will fall away.
We will trust ourselves.
We will trust each other.
We will trust God.

Heaven will descend on earth,
And earth will connect with its heavenly home.
All this will come to pass
through your own alignment with love.

Thus, the importance of that alignment
cannot be underestimated.

Today, you are called to connect with the power of love.
and to live in steady and conscious alignment with it.

Today you are called to cross the threshold
and relax into the embrace of love
that you might learn to embody it.

Today you are called to walk through the door
to love without conditions
that you may become the door for others.

That is how it works.
That is how it has always worked.
That is how you and all of God’s children
Come home.

Earth Changes and the Awakening of the Heart of Humanity


			The prophecies of the Maya offer hope and ask us to play an active role in the times to come so that we can join together in our hearts and in our communities all over our planet. I encourage all of you to join on Tuesday evening at sunset with the indigenous peoples of the earth to pray for peace and the alignment of our human hearts with the heart of the earth and the surrounding heavens. In order to respond to this call in an empowered and centered way, we must step forward in love and not in fear. We must hold ourselves and others in a gentle and compassionate way. We must connect with the earth and all her creatures and hold them in the confidence and safety of our love. If possible, go to a place of power where you can feel mother earth's energy and be in silence at least fifteen minutes before and after sunset. During this time align your crown chakra with the energy of the earth under your feet and allow the energy that comes down from the heavens and up from the earth to anchor in your heart. Feel love for yourself, for your fellow human beings, for all of the earth's creatures, and for our planetary home. Hold all of this in your love and be open to any guidance you receive as to how you can help in the alignment of human consciousness with the divine energy of unconditional love and with the specific needs of our planet and the creatures who live upon it. This is an opportunity to connect with love and to attune to the divine purpose manifesting on earth through us. At the very least, it will be a blessing given and received. Please share this information with your friends in a timely fashion so that they participate in this ritual atunement if they want to. Moving into a New Way of Living The prophecies seek to bring our attention to forces that have been set in motion by thoughts, feelings and actions that are out of harmony with the integrity of earth and the blessings of Spirit. These thoughts and actions are driven by fear, selfishness, and short-sightedness. They do not serve our own well being, nor do they consider and value the well being of others. We were given free will so that we could learn from our errors and come back into balance and harmony with nature, with each other, and with our spiritual essence. That is the challenge before us. What must shift is the nature of our consciousness itself -- the very thoughts and feelings from which our actions spring. Here are twelve guidelines that will help you take immediate responsibility for the shifting of your own consciousness from fear to love:

		Twelve Guidelines to help you Shift from Fear to Love 1. Learn to bless your own experience and that of others. If you find yourself judging or condemning yourself or others, hold that awarness with compassion until you find that you are able to shift into acceptance of self and other. Once you can accept, you open to the blessing that is there. 2. Be aware of your fear and move through it by breathing deeply and being present with your experience in that moment. By so doing, you take total responsibility for understanding and healing your fear and unworthiness so that you do not project them onto others. 3. Experience your equality with every person you meet. If you think or feel that you are "less than" or "more than" another person, understand that fear is driving your consciousness. Take a deep breath and let yourself be aware of the fear so that you bring love and compassion to yourself. 4. Do not take more than you need to live simply and actively share the rest with others. Freely give to others the resources and encouragement they need to be self-sufficient and to know that they are worthy of love and respect. 5. Every day connect with your Spiritual Essence, feel God's love in your heart and ask to be an instrument of love and peace. 6. Every day, pray for your loved ones. 7. Every day, pray for your enemies. 8.. Every day, pray for the leaders of the world that they may open to love and work together to create understanding, cooperation and peace between all races, religions and governments. 9. Every day, pray for the earth and the creatures who live on it. Spend time in nature. Feel the embrace of the earth, her ground and her skies, her waters and her winds. Let every action you take honor her and sing her praises. 10. Know that peace is possible right now in your heart. Know that you are the bringer of love right now in this moment, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. 11. Join willingly with others in the above practices and share in the group energy and intention. Let the shared power of your love vibrate at its full intensity and extend outward to embrace your community, your country, and our planetary home. 12. Know that all minds, all hearts, and all physical bodies can come into alignment and resonance with the power of love. A Prayer of Connection Divine Mother Come into my Heart Come into my Body Come into my Energy Field. Breathe with me Move with me Be in me and with me as God Incarnate. I give you my life I give you my consciousness I give you the gifts of my hands and the movement of my feet. I surrender all perceived obstacles into the river of your love so that I may receive your love now in this moment. I am filled to overflowing with your love in my body, in my mind and in my heart. and I am ready to give all that I have received. I arise and go now into my worldly life. Divine Father will guide my and protect me. He will inspire me and oversee my mission here to love and be of service. I walk now with you in my Heart and Father at my side. I go forth into the world as the incarnation of your unified love. I am blessed. I am anointed by your love. I am sanctified and made whole. Thank you. Amen You are given this prayer to reconnect with the energy when your awareness of it diminishes. You may use this prayer to greet the day and establish the authority of God in your life on a daily basis. You may wish to say if before or after you engage in Spiritual Practice Number One: (Connecting with God). You may also use it or any portion of it as needed throughout the day. The Presence of Love is beyond Highs and Lows The energy that you have received does not create an emotional high. It is a steady radiance and an inner knowing. Emotional highs become emotional lows. They are part of the dualistic structure of life. The presence of love does not come and go. It is always there. It can and must be relied on in every moment. When you do not feel the presence, it simply means that your mind has wandered and you have moved away from your heart. When you realize that, you can call yourself back. Simply say, “I see have gone astray. Let me come back to my heart now.” As you say this, feel the radiance in your heart. Breathe into it and be it. Saying the above prayer also helps. But remember, the prayer is not a magic formula. The intent to reconnect must be there or the words will not have their full impact. Smudging to drive out bad spirits or change an outer vibration is counterproductive. It reinforces the illusion that there is anything other than love present. Do not engage in such rituals. They reflect a lesser consciousness than the one you are now connected to. You are not to “resist evil,” for evil does not exist. There is only love. If you sink into duality consciousness – if you begin to believe that there are problems that you must fix or errors that you must correct – you are relying on your ego structure to take charge of your life. This must be surrendered again and again. If love is present now – and we suggest that it is – you must to submit to it. You must allow its presence to infuse you. You must drink the living waters. Nothing stands between you and God in this moment or in any moment. Come into the loving embrace of Divine Mother. Love and accept yourself in this moment. Love and accept others as they are. Make peace with your life as it is. Remember, you are no longer in charge of the journey. God is in charge. Your role is to surrender to that which is greater than your ego structure, to let go into that which is beyond fear or any attempt to manipulate or control. In your surrender is the most profound sweetness. Allow yourself to taste it. That which goes up and down has nothing to do with unconditional love. It has to do with the conditions of life. When those conditions seem favorable, the heart is uplifted. When they seem unfavorable, depression and despair set in. Real love is beyond conditions, beyond ups and downs or highs and lows. Real love is steady. It is there in the trenches as well as in the vistas. It is there in the valleys as well as on the mountaintops. The Source of that Love is in your heart. It never leaves you. When you love yourself without conditions, you connect to it. You give your life over to it. Learn to connect to that Source when conditions seem unfavorable or repressive. Learn to be in that love for yourself even when circumstances are challenging. Then you be supported by that love in a profound way. It will steady your life. You will not have huge swings in mood up and down. You will not be drunk on God, only to wake up with a hangover. The Energy of the Group The energy of the group is powerful. But be vigilant. It can be a drug. It can take you to the mountaintop only to precipitate a crash when you return home alone. If this is your experience, know that you are forgetting the Source within. Without your own connection to the Source, the group energy just temporarily props you up. We have told you many times that daily spiritual practice and communion with God is the backbone of this work. If you don’t nurture your own connection to Source, you will rely on the group inappropriately. You will make it the Source. It is not the Source. The Source is in your heart and in the hearts of others. When you are all in your hearts, then the group radiates the connection to Source with great power and purpose. That is why you are being called to come together into groups. The group is the tenfold magnification of all of the individual connections. When the minion of ten people gather and each one is connected to the energy of unconditional love, they will reach a hundred people with the energy. That is how a spiritual community is born. However if those ten people rely on the group for connection, then energy of the group will be used to support the group members alone. That means there will be no magnification or extension of the energy. There is an energetic difference between the experience of being “filled” and that of being “filled to overflowing.” Filled means expanded or puffed up. It is like a balloon filled with Gas. In time the gas – the group energy – dissipates. And then the balloon must be filled up again. This is how most people relate to the Sabbath. They come to be filled up and when they go home the energy dissipates. That is because they do not engage in daily spiritual practice. They go to the Sabbath to take, not to give. But those who engage in daily spiritual practice go to the Sabbath to give and to share. The more they give and share with others, the more they expand until they are “filled to overflowing.” Their cup runneth over. The river of love flows over the banks. It reaches far beyond itself to those who are calling for love, wherever they may be. This is the energy that builds spiritual community. It is the energy of extension and service to others. It is the nature of God’s work on the planet. The community of the faithful is the engine of service. It is and must continue to be ever inclusive. It welcomes all. It reaches to all. Some will come into the circle of love once and disappear not to return. Some will come once a month or a couple of times a year. However, some will be drawn frequently, repetitively and they will be drawn into the center. They will join the minion. They will become a cell in the battery that radiates love and light to the community. Yes, the community must be supported, but its mission is to give all that it receives and more. For there is no limit on the gifts that God places into our hands. The Voice in the Wilderness We are asking you to be the voice in the wilderness. You cannot go into the wilderness unless you feel connected to God the Father, unless you feel that He is guiding you and protecting you. As a group you come into the arms of the Mother to be loved and nurtured. The Great Mother holds you in her embrace as a mother bird hovers over its eggs, warming them and allowing them to gain the energy and the confidence to hatch. The hatchery is important. It must be kept going, offering a safe space to all who need to be nurtured and empowered to be who they are. And you are helping to keep it safe and nurturing by loving each other without conditions. But each of you at one time or another will be called to leave the hatchery. You will break through the protective shell and come out into the world. This is as it should be. Divine Mother brings you into the world and reminds you that you are loved and accepted. Then She gives you into the Father’s hands. Father accompanies you on your mission here. He supports you, guides you and protects you. It is with Him that you go into the wilderness, as Jesus did. You are asked to come into Mother’s arms and soak up Her unconditional love and feel that love in every cell of your body. And then you are asked to go forth and express that love in the world. If you try to hold onto the love, you will lose your connection to it. To keep the gift of this love, you must extend it to others. That is what it means to be a minister or a healer. To give this love, you go out into the wilderness and build a new hatchery. You bring others into the embrace of love just as you were brought into the embrace of your spiritual family. Divine Father accompanies you out into the wilderness. He guides and supports you while you build the house of healing you are called to create with others. All houses of healing are hatcheries for souls. They give Mother’s love and then empower those who receive it to give it to others. Mother and Father work together in this. They love and empower, draw people in and push people out. That is their function. They must work through you. Without you, none of this can be done. The first call is “to come in” to Mother’s arms. The second call is “to go out into the wilderness.” When you go out into the wilderness, you are bringing Mother’s love with you. That is what Father does. He brings Mother’s love. Mother is about inclusion. Father is about extension. After you have been included in the group, you must extend the love you received there, or you will lose your connection with it. So you go out and include others in your life and in your love. The circle of giving is not complete until you have given all that you have received. And when you have done that you will return to Mother to receive even more. For you the Mother energy is held by your core Spiritual Family. You need to return to that family again and again to drink the living waters and feel the embrace of unconditional love. And then you will go out and hold a safe, loving space for others. You will be the door through whom others come to God. This second family is as important as the first. Your family of origin and your family of creation are equally necessary. Each of you must have a place to give and a place to receive. The more you give, the more that you receive, and vice versa. To be a teacher, a healer, a minister in this work, you do not have to go out and “save the multitude.” You are asked simply to hold the space of the Great Mother steadily from day to day and week to week. You become Her place of sanctuary in your community. Join with ten people and stay with them week to week. Hold the space for each other. Be the Mother energy. But then go out and extend this blessing to ten more people. Be with them week to week. And encourage them to go out and extend what they have received. Once per week, drink the love and support of your spiritual family. Once per week, go out and extend the Presence and build a new spiritual family. That is all that you are asked to do. These twin gestures of giving and receiving set the forces of love in motion in your life and in your world. If you can stay with this, week in and week out, and engage in your daily spiritual practice, you will be doing your part in God’s plan for the awakening of human consciousness now in its time of need. The Sabbath is God’s Time The power of this work lies in its consistent application and presence. This is not the kind of work that can be done from time to time. It cannot be done one week and not the next. It needs a steady presence. You need to show up every week. That is what it means to keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath is God’s time. It must be the most important time in your week. Accept the Sabbath for yourself and bring it to others. Help people slow down enough to receive God’s blessing in their lives at least once each week in communion with others. And encourage them to take home a spiritual practice that will enable them to connect with God each day. As you step into this work, your extended family will grow steadily. You will be surrounded by many wonderful souls who are accompanying you on your journey. The power of that extended family cannot be underestimated. It will transform your life. It will transform the consciousness in your community. You will see the Power of Love demonstrated in every aspect of your life.
